Are workshop teachers DBS checked?
More Curricular use the latest educational research to run workshops and create learning apps that help children improve their learning techniques. Our workshops help children to improve memory, problem-solving and comprehension skills, whilst our learning apps give you an idea of your child’s ability at a specific year level for Maths, English, Science or Handwriting.

What services do More Curricular offer?
Our workshops and learning apps are suitable for children aged 7 to 18 years old. However, if your child is outside this age range, please email contact@morecurricular.co.uk and we will see if we can accommodate them.

More Curricular is not a tuition service. We provide learning technique workshops which help children develop their metacognitive skills. The development of these skills can help improve your child's performance at school or with the work done with a private tutor. Plus, our learning apps give you a comprehensive assessment of your child's current abilities, which can be used by both you and their tutor.
Do I still need a tutor if I use More Curricular?
We usually run workshops and course at Pimlico Academy, Lupus Street, Central London. However, in light of Covid 19, all our workshops and courses are run online. As with classroom delivery, all tutors have DBS clearance. We will also ensure that the virtual classroom is fully secure by using password-protected access and restricted joining and participation settings.

Where do the courses/workshops take place?
Everyone employed by More Curricular, including our teachers, have Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks. We believe that we have a fundamental duty of care towards all children using our services and aim to protect them from harm or risk of harm.
More Curricular is not a subscription-based service. We use a service-based business model, where you only pay for the service that you use. Please click here for our terms and conditions and privacy policy.
