Celebrate Open House London Festival 2022 with More Curricular

More Curricular is pleased to be involved in the Open House London Festival, again this year. We will be running the Mysterious Black Tudors Family Trail, which takes place in Westminster, but are also excited to be offering a new tour, the Mysterious Black Tudors Riverside Walking Tour in Southwark.

The History of Britain's Black Tudors

The Black Tudors are an interesting and often overlooked part of British history. Black Tudors were people of African descent, who lived in England during the Tudor period. They were not numerous, but they did play an important role in English society. Many were sailors, merchants, servants or musicians, but there were also some black nobility, such as Dederi Jaquoah.
